Greetings, I am Tony Stanford Jr a native of the “Queen City” of Buffalo, NY and have called Charlotte, NC home since early 2011. Those who know me best describe me as one who is passionate about helping others. I am committed to utilizing my knowledge as a real estate professional, homeowner, and investor to assist you in achieving your dream of home ownership, as I truly believe everyone deserves their own keys.
My interest in real estate started in high school as a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity. A few weeks after doing a siding project, I attended the house dedication ceremony. Seeing the excitement of the family as they were presented with keys shaped my views on the value of home ownership. 10 years later, I decided to purchase my first house, primarily for the monthly savings in comparison to rent prices in my desired neighborhood. My realtor at the time was against the purchase (more on that later), but the equity increases continue to prove it was a great decision.
While obtaining my Master of Business Administration from North Carolina State University, I used all my spare time to read and listen to everything I could about real estate. As I thought back to my not so pleasant buying experience with my first home, I decided to become the realtor that I wish I had. This led me to enroll in the JY Monk Real Estate School where I learned all the latest North Carolina housing rules and regulations. After successfully passing the National and State of North Carolina licensing exams, I can serve as your advisor in all real estate transactions. To expand my real estate services, I later received a South Carolina real estate license. I believe that to be successful in real estate and life in general is to never stop learning. This has led me over the past few years to obtain the following certifications: Workforce Housing Specialist, Broker-In-Charge, and pre/post licensing Real Estate Instructor.
